Meeting in Bruehl

The meeting in Bruehl was the first time that we all met and started to work together on our project “The Image of the European Union in the Post- truth Era”.

The first day, we were all getting to know each other and at first, it was really stressful and unusual because of 4 different languages and cultures. But we connected during the warm-up activities and the project workshops that explained us how the European Union works.

One of the most interesting parts of this meeting was visiting Bruxelles together. First we went sightseeing and we were amazed with the city and we ate a lot of Belgian waffles which are one of the world`s best waffles. We visited the European Parliament and were astonished with the many translator`s booths. Besides we visited Cologne and its media companies. We had an opportunity to be a part of the process of making news.

The last day, one group was making food for the party in the evening while the other groups were working on presentations and the video. In the evening we had a party with DJ Hugo, everybody had a great time.
